WRITER GARY SKIBA DEDICATES SONG TO THOSE
WHO HAVE SUFFERED ACTS OF VIOLENCE OR TERROR
As tragedies like the Oklahoma
city bombing, or the Virginia Tech incident occur, and so
many others, I immediately think of all those who will never
see their loved ones again. I also think of the fact of
missing a moving and powerful moment.
The moment when someone realizes they will never see the
person they love, and have the opportunity to say what
needs to be said. The emotions of that single moment are
different than all the other moments in our lives.
That moment is taken away with terror, war and acts of
violence.
We can only hope that even though we never said
goodbye, the angels have said..."hello."
