Stan Williams announces release of "Besides Still Waters", notes social causes behind work

Stan writes...

Having the opportunity to record Beside Still Waters was a real blessing. My original intent was to create a musical legacy that I could leave to my family and select friends. It has turned out to be so much more than that. I’ve had the opportunity to provide this project to a host of people, nearly all of whom have expressed to me that it has provided them with a soothing background for quiet reflection as well as hours of listening enjoyment.

One of my favorite songs from the project is the song, Be Thou My Vision, written in tribute to Saint Patrick, of Ireland, who boldly took a stand against King Logaire, who at the time was threatening religious liberty with his edicts. Today we are faced with similar threats to freedom and liberty by those who would seek to to govern, rather than serve those they have been elected to represent. We must boldly stand, like Patrick, against the tyranny that threatens our great Republic. Soli Deo gloria!
